To whom it may concern: Scott Sutton played a key role in our project. He worked with technicians, engineers, managers, and operations analysts, gathering the information needed to document processes that were to be transferred to a new business partner. It was crucial that these documents be delivered on time so that a very aggressive schedule could be met. Scott delivered all the documentation on time and in a form that made for a very smooth transfer of processes. While working on the documentation with Scott, I asked about the possibility of creating a tool that would help our partner identify our products and service parts when they were returned from the field with no identification. Scott came back within a day or so with several options. After some discussion of the pros and cons of each option, we decided to have Scott build us a tool using RoboHelp. The completion of this side project needed to fit in with the overall project schedule even though it was unplanned. Scott's diligence and his ability to keep us all focused were the key reasons that the Part ID Tool was completed on time. He created over 300 part pages complete with photos and descriptions. He organized the tool so several different types of searches could be performed. The tool also has an online help function for users. Scott designed the tool so that it could be easily maintained and edited. The tool is now being used both by Xerox and our partner. His work was so well thought of on our project that Scott was immediately hired to another project team at Xerox. Scott brings a variety of skills, a positive attitude, and a creative approach to any project team. Edward Helbig |
