To Whom It May Concern, The following represents my impressions of Scott Sutton over a short period of time. Scott's primary responsibilities with PacifiCorp/BSIP began as a writer of feature articles and inserts for a monthly newsletter. His writing style is much as one would expect after meeting Scott. His choice of words created a succinct and crisp presentation of the facts while making it interesting for the reader. Scott often took the initiative to interview essential parties to ensure that his articles were accurate representations of the subject matter. Within a few weeks, Scott also quickly absorbed the duties of the Web Master for the project's multi-page site. The site, initially created through an outside vendor, was not a well functioning site. Nor was the site a very appealing presentation of the information that we had to distribute to our various audiences. Scott took over with very little direction from any of his supervisors and enhanced the site considerably. He frequently made unsolicited suggestions as to how to enhance the site and ways to generate audience traffic. In short order, the department was receiving compliments concerning the site improvements, all the result of Scott's tireless efforts. While his demeanor may appear to be on the shy side, Scott has little hesitation in expressing his opinions, which are often insightful. He is also proactive in soliciting help from others to accomplish a task. I found his blend of Old and New World values particularly refreshing. In summary, Scott Sutton has been a very enjoyable and productive partner in our group's efforts. His contributions will be sorely missed. Should you desire additional information, do not hesitate to contact me. It is a pleasure to provide a well-deserved reference for someone such as Scott Sutton. Sheila Hibbard |
